During the program Mr. Avagyan talked about the implementing project which aims to raise the awareness of the rights of women in rural families of Armenia, the awareness of their sexual and reproductive health.

With the high support of the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) ‘For Humanity’ charitable foundation and ‘Maple Leafs’ Medical Clinic are implementing online supporting program to rural communities.In the first stage of the implementation of the project online medical and psychological consultations have been organized via special mobile application in four selected villages of Armenia ( Lusarat, Norashen, Shahumyan, and Gai). The COVID-19 virus is rapidly spreading all over the World as well in Armenia and affects different people in different ways. COVID-19 is a respiratory disease and most infected people will develop mild to moderate symptoms and recover without requiring special treatment. People who have underlying medical conditions (chronic diseases such as cardio-vascular, diabetes, pulmonary, etc.), people with disabilities and those over 60 years old have a higher risk of developing severe disease and death.
